Designed by Robert Trent Jones, this course in Central Luzon is considered as one of the finest 18-hole, par-72 championship courses in the country. It has hosted top events like the President’s Cup and other golf spectacles of the country. One of its interesting feature is water, where in eleven of its 18 holes have well placed water hazards including hole 17 which is considered to be the most awesome.
Luisita is an 18-hole championship course sitting on a 70-hectare area bounded on the east by a sugar central and by the mountain chain on the west. The front nine is built mostly on an open but rolling ground while the back nine is shaped by a meandering creek. The 2-storey Clubhouse is of classic Spanish architecture with an approximate building area of 2,000 sqm. It offers a 135-degree view of the course, providing easy access to Holes 1 & 10 and also Greens 9 & 18 The principal and interesting feature of Luisita is water. Twelve of its 18 holes have well-placed water hazards, the most awesome of which is its Signature Hole on 17.
It is listed in Golf Magazine’s Top 100 Glof Courses in the World. There are no crowds, no waiting, and best of all, very private.
